A sports coach instructs, directs, and trains team members in the participation of and competition of a particular physical activity or game.

A counselor/therapist draws on professional training as a licensed health care provider for treatment of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders and problems.

What training do you have?

I am a certified professional coach, CPC, and certified Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP) and have received formal training from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), which is accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to the training and credentialing of professional coaches, and I adhere to the ICF Code of Ethics.

Who do you coach?

Anyone who:

  • left dysfunction behind and is ready to navigate into their own lives.

  • understands the “why” of their past but aren’t sure how to break free of the cycles of their own history.

  • feels ready to step into a new chapter of life but aren’t sure how to take those first steps.

  • reaches a point when they’re doing everything they can to shift where they are and don’t seem to be moving forward in their lives.

I work hard to foster an open and affirming environment for all clients of age, race, gender, orientation, faith, or creed.

Looks like you coach the LGBT community; do you know what you’re talking about?

I’m a cis woman who was pretty late to realize I’m bisexual, and I’m also a very proud mom of a genderqueer trans adult.

As a coach, my goal is to be a resource that is safe, empowering, and welcoming for people within the LGBTQ+ community to reclaim their own ability to thrive beyond the confines of a current story so they can embody the legendary power of their beautiful self.

Your website lists a statement of belief; do you expect your clients to believe anything in particular?

I’m glad to coach anyone, regardless of what they do or don’t believe in. I’ve wandered throughout many different landscapes of belief and I know there is truth in the Hindu proverb: ‘there are many different paths up the mountain, all leading to the same place so it doesn’t matter which path you take. The only person wasting their time is the one running around the mountain telling everyone that their path is wrong.’ Belief is personal, intimate, and precious; understanding the tenets of our belief makes our life richer and empowers our capacity to truly thrive

What are your fees?
